Your assistant can work with another business's agent in two ways: a link between two businesses on the platform, or a connection to an ordering endpoint a supplier publishes for software agents over MCP (Model Context Protocol). Both are set up by an admin from the supplier directory.
Linking two businesses on the platform
The supplier's admin asks the owner assistant for an invitation code. It begins with LINK-, is valid for seven days and works once. The buyer's admin asks the owner assistant to link a supplier and enters the code against one supplier of the directory.
From then on the buyer's supplier requests arrive at the supplier as ordinary quote requests. Quotes and orders travel between the two as records: a chat message typed to a linked business is not delivered to anyone. Either side can end the link.
Connecting a supplier's MCP endpoint
Paste the configuration the supplier provides against that supplier in your directory, then check and activate it. The check contacts the endpoint once and sends no request or order.
Only endpoints that need no credentials are supported, and this route works only where external supplier connections are switched on for the platform. If activation is refused for that reason, contact support. Never paste a password, token or key.
What the agents do, and what you do
Once a supplier is contactable, a supplier request reaches its agent and the offer comes back to your owner chat. Where your plan includes supplier ordering and the connection supports orders, you can send an order for exactly that offer. Each step that commits you waits for an admin's CONFIRM.
A linked supplier reports the order's state afterwards. A supplier reached through its own endpoint does not.
If a connection stops working
A connection that returned to unverified means the supplier's endpoint changed from what was saved. Check and activate it again, or remove it and save the new configuration.
There is no endpoint yet for outside software agents to browse your own catalog or place orders with you. Business buyers reach you through your customer assistant, or through a link.
