A business can sell to other businesses with quotes and orders instead of ordinary purchases. This is B2B selling, and it works the same way in every category, Supplier / Wholesaler included: the plan must include it, as Pro does, and an admin must switch it on. The plan never switches it on by itself, and choosing a category unlocks nothing.
Switching B2B selling on
In the dashboard, choose the business, open Settings and find B2B selling. Select Change B2B selling, choose Enable or Disable, check the summary and press Confirm; Cancel leaves it as it was. The same review can start in the owner chat: ask to enable or disable B2B selling and send CONFIRM. Only an admin can save it, and the plan is checked again at that moment.
A note under the setting suggests buyers that suit your category: other agencies, tour operators and DMCs for a travel agency; travel agencies, tour operators, DMCs and corporate travel buyers for a hotel; resellers and other shops for a shop; hotels, travel agencies and event organisers for a restaurant; retailers and resellers for a wholesaler. They are examples, not a list of your partners.
With B2B selling on, a customer is treated as a business buyer only when they say they are one. Ordinary customers never see trade terms.
Below Pro, a Supplier / Wholesaler keeps its trade catalog: buyers can browse items, prices, minimum orders and public delivery terms, then contact your staff. Quote requests, quotes and new orders need Pro. When B2B selling is switched off or the plan no longer includes it, new quote requests stop at once; existing quotes and orders stay readable, and existing orders can still be declined or cancelled. An admin can switch it off on any plan.
Your trade catalog
Besides name, description and price, an item can state an item code, selling unit, pack quantity, minimum order, quantity increment, lead time, availability, delivery areas and weekdays, substitution policy, price tiers by quantity, and tax treatment. Send the catalog to the owner chat, check the draft and send CONFIRM; UNDO restores the previous rows.
A corrected upload merges by item name. The item code is not a rename key, so ask for a rename explicitly. Prices agreed with one buyer do not belong in the catalog.
From a request to a quote
A buyer browses the catalog with your customer assistant, checks that a quantity and date fit your rules, and requests a quote. The request gets a reference beginning with R- and your admins are alerted.
Ask the owner assistant to respond to that request. When every line is a catalog item with a unit price, unit, minimum order, increment, availability and tax treatment, the quote is calculated from the catalog; otherwise staff type the prices. Room and tour lines are always priced by staff. The quote is then approved and sent, each with its own confirmation. The buyer accepts one exact quote, identified by a reference beginning with Q-.
Acceptance places no order and reserves no stock. Ordering is a separate step, described in the orders guide.
Buyers you know
An admin can bind a buyer's conversation to a named business record, starting from one of that buyer's quote requests. For a recorded buyer you can save private terms: a price, minimum order and increment per item code, a validity period, and payment and delivery conditions. Those prices replace the public ones in that buyer's quotes while the terms are current.
Linking a buyer on the platform
Ask the owner assistant for an invitation code. It begins with LINK-, is valid for seven days and works once. The buyer enters it in their own supplier directory, and from then on their supplier requests arrive as ordinary quote requests. Your staff still price each quote and confirm each order.
