Keep manuals, procedures, recipes, supplier records and other technical material alongside your normal business features. Documentation is separate from customer-facing menus, services and catalogs — adding it does not turn your business into a documentation-only category.
Adding a source
Send a PDF, photo or text to the owner chat and describe it as a manual, procedure, technical guide or other internal material. If it is not clear whether the content belongs in documentation or a customer-facing catalog, the assistant asks you to choose before making it available.
Long documents are processed in the background. Wait for the ready notice before expecting a source to appear in search results.
Finding information later
Enabled owners and staff can ask which sources are on record or search the documentation they are allowed to read. Ask for a procedure, model, supplier or topic in the same owner chat.
Who can see it
Documentation is private to owners and staff by default. Customers cannot see it merely because it was uploaded.
An admin can explicitly mark suitable material customer-safe. Customers then receive only a short, cited answer from approved material — never the full document or private instructions.
Admin controls and access problems
Only an admin can add or replace a source, change its customer visibility or archive it. Each of these changes requires confirmation.
If you cannot find or manage a source, first check that you are working in the intended business and that your role has the required access.
