More and more of what a business buys and sells will be arranged between software agents. Here that already works in two ways. Two businesses on the platform can link, and their assistants then exchange supplier requests, quotes and orders directly. And your assistant can connect to a supplier's own ordering endpoint over MCP, the Model Context Protocol, the open standard agents use to talk to tools and to each other.
Agents exchange structured records, not chat messages. And an agent never commits your business by itself: a person sends CONFIRM before a request goes out, and again before an order is sent.

Supplier ordering over MCP is on Pro. Today the assistant connects out to supplier endpoints that need no credentials; a public endpoint for outside agents to browse your catalog is not offered yet.
